Back in action at the 100 Acre Wood Rally
Apex, NC (October 25, 2005)

Matthew Johnson's Carolina RallySport team returns to the rally stages to begin their bid on the Rally America Production GT championship this weekend in Salem, Missouri. The 100 Acre Wood rally is the2nd of 9 events in the 2006 Rally America Championship.

With continued support from Hankook Tire, Johnson is excited to get things under way.

Johnson: "I'm ready to get in the car and startthe season, missing the first event put us behind in the points race so I'llhave an eye on that, besides that I'm really pleased to have Hankook tireson the car again this season. I put the Hankooks through the ringer lastseason and never had a flat so I'm hoping to continue that trend!"

Also returning to fight for top honors in the RallyAmerica Production GT championship are Tanner Foust and Eric Langbein. Lastseason they fought hard down to the last rally in Michigan where Fousttook first in front of Johnson in second with Langbein taking third. Eachdriver had their chance to shine by winning events during the 2005 season.

Johnson is making a switch in the co-driver's seat,Carl Fisher of Pittsboro, NC will be calling the notes this comingweekend. Fisher and Johnson teamed up in a VW in the 2001 and 2002 rallyseasons. Don't rule out seeing Wendy Nakamoto back in the hot seat forJohnson later on in the season.

Carolina RS 2005 co-driver, Wendy Nakamoto, has a new business called "Dial it Forward" which is focused on supporting teamswith video technology and streaming video services to obtain in-car video andmake it available for fans and sponsors to view. Dial it Forward will beproviding in-car videostreaming service available shortly after each event.
